Mayapur is where the sankirtana movement began. On the banks of the Ganges, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu gave the holy name away freely, to everyone, without condition.

People arrive tired and leave lighter. The retreat exists to make that possible: nothing to perform, nothing to prove.

How it began

In a conversation with Candramauli Swami, Maharaja shared a simple wish: that devotees may have more chances to gather and go deeper in intentional kirtan.
